Dr. Celia Toyos-Rodríguez

Single-molecule identification of protein modifications

Celia Toyos-Rodríguez received her PhD from the University of Oviedo in 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Francisco J. García and Dr. Alfredo de la Escosura. Her work consisted of the development of electrochemical sensors based on nanomaterials for the detection of biomarkers in clinical samples.

After finishing her PhD, she joined the Bayley and Qing groups, where she works in single-molecule identification of protein modifications, with special focus on clinically relevant protein biomarkers.
